A lady called on my landline claiming to be from Virgin Media technical dept. There have been several attempts to relocate my IP address by fraudsters abroad and this is an urgent call to prevent this from happening. She said she will give me my IP address and wanted me to check if it is correct on my computer.
I said OK, I'll call Virgin Media technical dept. and get it sorted. She wasn't happy and insisted that she is from Virgin Media technical dept and there was no need to call them. I insisted on calling them, at which she simply hung up.
