one lady call me. Ask for my maiden name. cakap pun tergagap-gagap. and then I said I will go and register sendiri for the Celcom Xpax Postpaid 40 program. they'll said your number terpilih sebab penggunaan more than RM40/months.
So i got a call from this number, claimed it was Celcom. She knew about what prepaid plan that I use, currently. She then offered me to upgrade to postpaid rm40 which is legit in celcom postpaid plan. I agreed to upgrade, I gave her my name, ic and phone number. After that, I called celcom to check whether my plan already being upgraded or not, but then they check, no changes were made. They said maybe it is a scammer who pretend to be celcom. I was shocked and I don't know what to do. They advised me to make a police report and go to blue cube center to block any of changes that will be made by scammer. They also said that the scammer might use my details to change or purchase something from Celcom itself or other telco like digi or maxis. Please don't answer call from this number. I regret not asking and referring to celcom first because the scammer knew about all my current celcom plan and all, i trusted her because she explained from A to Z about the plan wihtout doubt. I also look at the plan on the website while talking over the phone with the scammer and there is no error in explaining. Right now, I just hope that nothing will happen. Stay safe everyone.
