Woman knows my first name and last name said she is from TD, but I told her I dont have TD credit card, she said she will update the infomatiom. It is definitely a scam.
Woman who knows my first name claims that she is from TD. She wants to sell me this ident*ty thief prevention service which is $20/month, she claims the service will send me my credit report every 3 months and notify me of any changes in my credit. I got suspicious when I asked her if I can do this at a TD branch and she said it's online only. I hang up when she repeatedly asked me to confirm my full name.

I received the same call from phone number (416) 941-0407. Saying that they are from TD and will check my credit score for free so I can be aware of any Ident*ty theft I may not know of and confirm all transactions are indeed mine. They claimed to be promoting IDassist.com. They asked if I was (my first name) and asked me to confirm my name, address, email (to send me more information) and then they asked for my date of birth. I told them that I am not comfortable giving out this information over the phone especially since they have not given me any information to confirm they are indeed from TD. She sounded very friendly but scripted. She ignored my comment and continued to push for my address, then DOB at which I told her no and that the police have instructed me to never give this information out over the phone. She avoided my question and was very persistent but then asked me to check out the website IDassist.com and if they could call me back in a few weeks to check in with me. I called my TD branch to ask them if this is a typical call and they said no. Don't give out any personal information to them!!

Probably more things after but I didnt give them my date of birth so idk what they ask after this, most likely credit card info.
