Asian male called me on my landline. Said he was selling raffle tickets for SES Inst*tute (false). Asked what SES was replied 'emergency'. When told I was an SES member and that we do not fund raise this way he hung up.

I keep being hara**ed from this number and more regarding NBN. I was told my NBN connection needs a person to visit the house before NBN is active, I told her the NBN is active. The lady then told me it is mandatory I have someone visit the house, the lady then made a third appointment as the previous times no one turned up, I would then receive an SMS giving me another date for someone to visit the house only to look at the modem. I asked her who does she work for, she said NBN Australia, I asked what her name is, however I do not remember, her English was very poor also, I needed her to repeat herself a few times. She made the appointment for the 17th June 21, I was not here, a friend was here when this man turned up in a white van, he was not wearing any clothes which identified who he worked for and did not produce any identification, he was walking towards the front door to enter the house, my friend told him not to enter as I was not home. Because I was not home I received another SMS explaining this man will now visit me at the house on June 2nd 21. I answered my phone one time only, however I cannot recall if this was the phone number I was called from, as I have been contacted via many numbers regarding the NBN connection. I have spoken to Telstra complaints due to an account issue, during the conversation I explained a lady continues contacting me via SMS, phone or email. He told me no one needs to visit your house, Telstra can see remotely if your NBN is not active, and yours is active, he could see it was active during our conversation, he told me this is a SCAM. *To anyone who reads this, please contact your provider before letting anyone into your house, and please get their identification, such as car registration number, their name and description. The man was maybe Romanian, I am not sure.

I have at least 2000 blocked numbers, this is one of them. I usually don’t answer if I do not recognise the number. If the caller does not leave a message I block the number.

I didn’t answer because I receive so many calls. I now let any number I don’t have blocked ring out, they will leave message if the caller is legitimate.

called me at about 8am. when I answered the call there was complete silence. The number is unknown to me. Might have been a scam but without any dialogue their purpose is unclear.

This number and others similar , ring same time everyday and I believe they are scammers after personal information... Do not answer and do not give out info or talk so they get voice info to form further statements on..
