Have just been called by this number. Advised that they could stop all nuisance calls for free. Have spent the last 25 minutes trying to obtain details from my bank card. Couldn't understand why they needed my bank details when the service is supposed to be free.
Obvious scam. Poorly phrased text message to say I was ent*tled to a tax refund and provided a web address to click on in order to claim the refund. I'm guessing they got my number from some authentic internet activity I had undertaken which possibly revealed my age group and based on that, must have thought I was a gullible geriatric.
Cold call sales call from Preston North End football club selling advertising space on their ground. Wouldn't take no for an answer. I hung up in the end.
said they were calling from BT and my internet would be terminated. Hung up.
Number is blocked but keep ringing, numerous calls past 7days.
Call with automated voice message stating that the telephone and internet will be terminated due to being compromised. then request you to push a button. beware, could be a £50 a minute job.
